🌷The Chill Study Guide: How to Handle Exam Stress Without Freaking Out ☕

Heya Study Beans! It's me, NimiTheOne ✿, back with a new post we all DEFINITELY need -

1. The 5-min 'Okay...breathe' thing
Before doing anything, just sit. Literally sit.
One deep breath in, slow breath out.
It feels dumb at first but it shuts down that panicky brain spiral for a moment, and that moment helps.

2. Start with something tiny
Not a full chapter. Not a 2-hour session.
Just...open the book. Read a small paragraph. Highlight one line.
Once you do that, your brain kinda goes “oh okay, we’re doing this,” and the stress drops a bit.

3. Make your space a TEENY bit nicer
A candle, or your fav song, or even just clearing the corner of your desk.
The vibe matters more than people admit.
When your room feels less chaotic, your thoughts chill out too.

4. Switch the MOMENT you feel stuck
If you stare at the page and nothing enters your skull - just switch subjects.
It’s not “giving up,” it’s literally saving your energy.

5. Drink water (yeah, I know. OBVS) + one comfort snack (Cookiesss for me)
Half of exam stress is just dehydration pretending to be anxiety.
A glass of water helps more than you’d expect. Also grab a tiny snack (mines is a cookie). Your brain likes fuel - it helps your brain work faster AND more efficiently.

6. Write down one small win
Finished a page? Solved something annoying?
Write it. I swear it tricks your brain into feeling like you’re not drowning. Or maybe it works like that for me only heh-

7. Do smth relaxing after closing your books
Shower, stretch, lie on your bed and stare at the ceiling, anything. But whatever you do, DO NOT watch your phone. If you do, you'll forget EVERYTHING you poured your soul in, and WON'T get your dream grades.
Your brain needs a cool-down period or it’ll keep buzzing.

That’s all. Nothing dramatic.
Exams suck, but you don’t have to be in panic-mode the whole time. Take it slow, don’t bully yourself, and remember you’re literally trying your best - which is enough.
